The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is leading the way to change the course of history for pancreatic cancer with a new goal to raise $200 million by 2020. Funding will allow the organization to significantly increase its investment in research efforts and continue to invest in groundbreaking research and clinical care that can improve patient outcomes.

To kick off the $200 million effort, a  transformational gift of $15 million was given to honor the memory of Skip Viragh, a noted philanthropist and entrepreneur who passed away from pancreatic cancer. His family, longtime supporters of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, told us that he was a person of utmost integrity – someone who valued relationships and who wasn’t afraid to push the envelope.

“We see these same qualities – among the ones we most admired in Skip – in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network,” they said.
